The beautiful, historical house was built in the beginning of the 19th century and now is the Inca Real Hotel. It is also an example of Colonial Style.
This colonial mansion has been owned by our family for nearly 40 years and is the first mansion to be converted to a hotel. We are family-owned and the hotel is family operated, making it very hospitable and unique, especially to North Americans. Our family has spent time in America and have many friends from the United States.
Within the past two years, approximately 2,000 North Americans have discovered Cuenca as their new home.
